I am a self taught artist of over 20 years. I am a digital and traditional artist. I use acrylic paint, markers, pens, pencils and other mixed media to create my traditional pieces. With digital art, I often start with a sketch and concept, then finalize it on digital software. I love the dark, eerie and ominous atmosphere of Gothic art and the fluidity, grace, and beauty of Japanese art. I have been so fortunate to have been surrounded with so many amazingly skilled artists. I truly feel art and community coincide. Artists supporting artists makes for stronger artists. I owe a lot of my success to my fellow artists in my community. Above all else, the community of creatives is what brings me fulfillment. It has been a long and difficult journey to become the artist I am today. I made art a career goal early on in my life, and have been working hard to sharpen my skills, challenge myself, and find my identity in my art. I will always find ways to push myself past my limits, making me a more well rounded artist. My mind is always coming up with new ideas to create, and I will never stop.
